DC Comics’ Flashpoint by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert chronicled the events of the fallout caused by the Flash going back in time to save his mother’s life. While doing what he thought was right, the Flash rewrote the landscape of DC continuity (as he might do again in the DCEU), including Bruce Wayne being killed and his father being that universe’s Batman, to a war raging between Aquaman and Wonder Woman that shook the world to its core.
