The Big Book Promises

When I reveal what it describes and where I got it from, I’ve had some pretty interesting responses. So physical cravings are Twelve-step program not the primary reason we slip. The Missing Science Behind the Cycle

For someone who struggles with alcohol use disorder (AUD) or substance use disorder (SUD), when these substances enter their system, they have a reaction that the body has no defenses against. They also do not know what type of reaction they will have once those substances hit their bloodstream. If you’re struggling to find a Higher Power in AA, know that you’re not alone. There are many people who have been in your shoes and have found creative ways to work around this issue.
